Horticulture Careers Showcase – Event Highlights for Next Step Ahead


I was recently asked by the team at Next Step Ahead to document their Horticulture Careers Showcase in Pimlico – an event designed to open young people’s eyes to the wide range of career opportunities in the world of plants, parks, landscaping and beyond.


Held at Daylesford Organic in Pimlico venue, the day brought together employers, training providers and visitors keen to learn more about what a career in horticulture can offer. There were 25 talks and lots of great conversations.


I was there to photograph the event as it unfolded and also to create a short video that captured the energy and purpose of the day. As always, my approach was unobtrusive and natural – letting things happen and simply recording them as they did.
