One Young World 2022


One Young World is a global organization that brings together young leaders from around the world to address pressing global issues and drive positive change. I was honoured to photograph three inspiring woman: Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Shaniqua Benjamin and Ebinehita Iyere for OYW, Manchester 2022.


One Young World's impact lies in its ability to empower and amplify the voices of young leaders. By convening annual summits, the organisation fosters cross-cultural dialogue, encourages collaboration, and nurtures a sense of shared responsibility. Through a combination of keynote speeches, workshops, and networking opportunities, delegates gain valuable insights, skills, and connections that enable them to create lasting impact in their communities.


The organization's impact is evident in the diverse range of initiatives undertaken by its delegates. From social entrepreneurship and environmental conservation to education and human rights advocacy, One Young World delegates are driving change on local, regional, and global scales. Their projects have tackled issues such as poverty, climate change, gender equality, and social justice.


One Young World also emphasizes the importance of sustainability and inclusivity in all its activities. By prioritizing the representation of marginalized groups and giving a platform to underrepresented voices, the organization ensures that its impact is equitable and far-reaching.


In a world where young people's voices are often marginalized or overlooked, One Young World serves as a catalyst for change, inspiring and empowering the next generation of leaders to tackle the world's most pressing challenges and build a better future for all.
