Awards Event and Christmas Party Photography in London


I recently photographed Verity Healthcare’s annual Christmas party and staff appreciation event, held at The Space in East London. It’s a brilliant venue — part theatre, part community hub — with a bar upstairs and plenty of room for people to gather, chat and celebrate. It suited the afternoon perfectly.


This was a relaxed, friendly Christmas do with carols, games, good food and a set of well-deserved staff awards. What struck me most was how warm the atmosphere was. Everyone mixed easily, catching up with colleagues and rounding off the year in a way that felt properly joyful.


It was a pleasure to capture the afternoon for them and to see a team genuinely celebrating each other’s hard work.

The charity Freedom From Torture stepped in to help Yogi find accommodation, offering him the first bit of stability he’d experienced in years. Through another organization, Migrateful, Yogi began learning to cook. This new skill sparked something in him, and after being granted asylum, Yogi was finally reunited with his wife and daughter after 14 long years of separation.
