Ty Jeffries is a British composer, lyricist, pianist and singer. He’s danced with Fred Astaire, sung for Shirley MacLaine and partied with Andy Warhol. As a model he's appeared on the cover of the British, American, French and Italian editions of Vogue. A supremely talented cabaret performer, he’s perhaps best known for his onstage persona of Miss Hope Springs.
Many of the paintings you see in the photos were by Ty’s father, actor and director Lionel Jeffries. A keen artist himself, Ty painted the self portrait in the bedroom. He is as kind as he is talented; it was a privilege to photograph the great Ty Jeffries.
